The Westlake Parking Structure is located in Daly City at the Westlake Shopping Mall off of John Daly Blvd., We installed a Carlisle Traffic Coating System on the second floor of the garage to prevent water intrusion into the retail space below. This waterproofing system consists of four layers the base coat, intermediate coat, sand coat and top coat. For this particular job the owner has opted for a second top coat only in the high traffic areas, to extend the life of the coating. The top coat is considered the wear coat and should be reapplied every 3 to 5 years depending on the amount of traffic the coating receives.
