The Uptown Oakland project consists of three phases/parcels. Each parcel had more or less the same scope of work. All three parcels consisted of Sonneborn HLM-5000 on all walkways, planter walls and all podium levels; this project also involved Tremco Paraseal Regular to prevent water leaking into the subterranian parking areas. The Sonneborn HLM-5000 was applied at a rate of 25 square feet per gallon with two successive coats and a layer of reinforcing fabric between the two layers; giving the system a total of 120mils. Parcel 3 was the only parcel to incorporate a pool deck in its design, the pool deck was coated with a Reinforced Carlisle Deck Coating and then lined with MiraDrain 9000 to allow the pool to sweat. With over 112,000 square feet of coating applied this is one of the largest coating projects NBW has completed to date.
